As we enter another year in business, I need to begin by thanking all of you for your support over the past 5 years. I am truly blessed to have the greatest clients
ever! It makes me sad to see other businesses and fellow salons close their doors as I anticipate a productive year at the studio.
This year will bring some new colors (hint...can you say NEON Rockstar toes? ;-) ), new products for sale, and possibly unveil a specialty pedicure or two. Please become a Facebook fan to tune into these debuts, as well as the occasional pop-up offer with a good discount when we receive a last minute cancellation.
Speaking of cancellations, I am going to post our studio policies on Facebook and the website so that we are all clear. I know you all enjoy the casual and friendly atmosphere of the studio, however business is business. Because of some recent experiences this past holiday, some policies are being amended.
As of January 1, 2013, any appointments that are scheduled on a holiday or it's eve that is not cancelled within 24 hours or missed altogether will result in a double fee of $50. No discussion or excuses, the bill will be sent to your email. Please know it is not just about the money lost, but other clients miss an opportunity for a service and time is taken away from my home and family. I do always try my best to be accommodating, and I am asking for the same consideration. I do value each of you, and I am flexible because we live in a real world... things happen, kids become ill, and weather gets nasty. However, Michele and I are independent with no sick time or vacation days to use. We do appreciate you ladies being flexible when we have emergencies as well.
