First, let me start by thanking all of you ladies who supported Ovarian Cancer Awareness month with your teal toes! A portion of those services has been sent to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. This month, we switch gears and think pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness! Pink polish, pink glitter, pink acrylic or pink nail art...all services that include these, again, 15% of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. For the first time ever, I am also joining up with Partylite in promoting the GloLite candle that donates $1 for each candle sold. I will have some candles in stock, or you may order online at www.partylite.biz/sites/BarbLouis.
October is also Nails by Adrienne's 5th anniversary! We will be celebrating with specials on our Facebook page. Not a fan yet? Join our page in October, and you could be our fan of the week!
Also, as the last quarter of the year begins, the standing appointments for 2013 will be placed on the calendar. If you have a standing appointment and would like to make day or time changes, please let me know. If you are interested in starting a standing appointment, please let me know asap.
Finally, before the rush of the holidays is in full swing, I would like to point out a few important policies for the studio. We do love children, however the studio is not child proof. Dangerous chemicals, sharp tools, expensive equipment, glass and candles are all within reach of little hands. We will not and cannot be liable for an injury, and recommend that children under 10 do not accompany you to your relaxation time. You may be asked to sign an insurance waiver if you insist on having your children with you. Payments for services can be made with Visa, MC, Discover, cash or check. Payments must be rendered at time of service...we will not holdyour check. Since we work by appointment only, it is a first come first served system. There are times that are in high demand, with a waiting list, and sometimes last minute cancellations cannot be filled without proper notice. Cancellations that are made with less than 12 hours notice or no shows will be charged a $25 fee before another appointment will be made. Obviously, for these issues to be placed in our newsletter, there has been a problem multiple times, and we regret the need to air these grievances in your email.
Michele and I look forward to a very pink October! Be on the lookout for Facebook specials as well as a deal during Spa Week October 15-21. ;-)
We hope to see you all very soon!
